We had the opportunity to brand NIU Kitchen from the onset when it launched almost a decade ago. Since then, they won the hearts (and bellies) of the most discerning types. Fast forward to 2022, the partners expand NIU Kitchen and also launch NIU Wine, a sister restaurant focusing on natural wine just a few doors down. Lemon Yellow was once again involved in this evolution and expansion coming up with a new strategy and visual brand that would work as a system for both ventures. We developed an intelligent and interchangeable set of guidelines and graphics that could be easily identifiable and create a harmony and cohesion for the overall NIU brand.


The result? A bolder identity for a game-changing restaurant (NIU Kitchen) and wine bar (NIU Wine) wanting to give other people the chance to explore and discover cuisine and wines that are way beyond average.
