Strang is an architecture studio defined by clarity, restraint, and craft — a quiet outlier in a region known for excess. While long respected by design insiders, the firm lacked a clear position in the broader market. That changed when we traced founder Max Strang’s lineage back to the Bauhaus, revealing a direct and meaningful connection to modernism’s roots.

This discovery became the foundation of the identity: a custom typographic system inspired by Bauhaus legend László Moholy-Nagy. Built with architectural precision, the wordmark is structured, balanced, and expressive, a visual language that mirrors Strang’s own work.

Rather than leaning on clichés, the system pulls from modernism’s philosophy and form. Every detail reflects proportion, clarity, and intent. It positions Strang not just as a modernist firm, but as an inheritor of its legacy, translating architecture into identity with integrity and purpose.
