Ziggurat is a mixed-use development in Coconut Grove, Miami’s most storied and protective neighborhood. Designed by Oppenheim Architecture and developed by the Allen Morris Company, it replaces familiar fixtures with something new—not to erase the past but to honor it. The challenge: create a brand that respects the Grove’s legacy while pointing gently toward its future.
The architecture is low-density, biophilic and deeply contextual - a quiet counterpoint to Miami’s towering developments. That same philosophy shaped the identity. At its center is a bold, refined Z inspired by ancient stepped forms. It anchors the system and guides layout, structure and rhythm. Materials, color and type echo the project’s architectural palette: grounded, timeless and tied to place.
What sets the identity apart is how fully it reflects the project’s intent. This isn’t branding as veneer. It’s an extension of Ziggurat’s values: humility, continuity and care. In a neighborhood where every change is watched, Ziggurat doesn’t disrupt. It listens, respects and integrates.
